Hazard (official). The loss of the rearview camera image while in reverse can reduce the driver's rear visibility, increasing the risk of a crash.
Action / remedy (official). The in-vehicle infotainment software will be updated by an over-the-air (OTA) software update or by a dealer, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed December 2, 2024. Owners may contact Nissan's customer service at 800-647-7261 or INFINITI's customer service at 1-800-662-6200. Nissan's numbers for this recall are R24B3 and R24B4.
