Hazard (official). A fastener that has not been heat treated could fail, resulting in separation of the pedestal and turntable, increasing the risk of injury.
Action / remedy (official). Altec will instruct owners to inspect the lot number on the fasteners and, if necessary, order a rotation bolt kit to replace the fasteners, or schedule service with Altec, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed September 11, 2026. Owners may contact Altec customer service at 1-877-462-5832. Altec's number for this recall is CSN-3347.
