Hazard (official). While driving, the brakes may activate unexpectedly without the driver's input, increasing the risk of a crash.
Action / remedy (official). Altec will inform the owners to inspect the front end radar installation and if installed incorrectly, instruct owners to take the vehicle to an OEM Chassis dealer to have the radar remounted and calibrated, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed June 12, 2026. Owners may contact Altec customer service at 1-877-462-5832. Altec's number for this recall is CSN-3309.
