We do not collect your VIN. A model-year match does not establish whether your individual vehicle is affected or has been repaired. Snapshot through 2026-10-11.
Results are official records from named sources. Coverage is incomplete. Match the exact model, batch and market, and confirm the latest instructions with the official source. A missing result is not a safety clearance.
Archived snapshot: 2026-08-24. This record was not present in the newer projection. It is retained as historical evidence; check the official source for current status.
NHTSA complaint and current-action window 2024-08-24 to 2026-10-11; historical campaign count uses the complete official pre- and post-2010 recall files acquired for this release.
What this means
The records were matched to the NHTSA make/model identity “Mopar Headlamp Assembly”. Each evidence type is reported separately.
What this does not mean
Complaint reports are allegations, not defect findings or a safety score. Counts are not normalised for sales, registrations, mileage or exposure, and a zero does not prove safety.
Parking lights and daytime running lights that fail to illuminate properly reduce the vehicle's visibility to other drivers, increasing the risk of a crash.
Official action: Dealers will inspect and replace the headlight assemblies, as necessary, free of charge. Dealers will repurchase uninstalled headlight assemblies. Interim notification letters, notifying owners of the safety risk, are expected to be mailed July, 30, 2026. Additional letters will be sent once the final remedy is available. Owners may contact Chrysler customer service at 800-853-1403. Chrysler's number for this recall is 63D.
Source snapshots: recall files 4 October 2026; complaint file 3 October 2026; investigation file 29 September 2026. Individually labelled archived records retain their older date.
