Hazard (official). The mounting brackets for the front subframe supporting the toolbox and the rear tailgate latches may not comply with the manufacturer’s specifications. As a result, the subframe mountings could fail, causing the toolbox to detach from the chassis, and the rear tailgate latches could unlock, allowing the tailgate to open while the vehicle is in motion. This could result in unsecured contents falling onto the road, creating an accident risk for other road users. The product does not comply with the Regulation on the approval and market surveillance of motor vehicles and their trailers, and of systems, components and separate technical units intended for such vehicles.
