Hazard (official). LP tanks that cannot be shut off increase the risk of a fire. Additionally a loose LP tank may detach and become a road hazard, increasing the risk of a crash.
Action / remedy (official). Dealers will install a remote shut off and replace the bracket, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed by October 30, 2026. Owners may contact Tiffin customer service at 1-256-356-8661. Tiffin's number for this recall is WAY-108.
