Hazard (official). Marker lights that fail to illuminate can reduce visibility, increasing the risk of a crash.
Action / remedy (official). Dealers will replace the center roof marker light, free of charge. Interim letters notifying owners of the safety risk were mailed September 22, 2026. Additional letters will be sent once the final remedy is available. Owners may contact Volvo Trucks' customer service at 800-528-6586. Volvo Trucks' number for this recall is RVXX2608. Vehicle Identification Numbers (VINs) involved in this recall will be searchable on NHTSA.gov beginning August 13, 2026.
