Hazard (official). Switch failure may lead to unintentionally working on an energized high voltage battery, increasing the risk of injury or death by electrical shock.
Action / remedy (official). Dealers will repair the high voltage disconnect connector bypass circuit, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed May 4, 2026. Owners may contact International's customer service at 1-800-448-7825. International's number for this recall is 26505. Vehicle Identification Numbers (VINs) involved in this recall will be searchable on NHTSA.gov beginning June 1, 2026.
