Hazard (official). The glass can fall out of the frame, increasing the risk of ejection and injury during a crash. Detached window glass can also become a road hazard for other vehicles, increasing the risk of a crash.
Action / remedy (official). Nova Bus will inspect and replace the glass as necessary, free of charge. Interim letters notifying owners of the safety risk were mailed May 29, 2026. Owners will receive another notice once remedy becomes available. Owners may contact Nova Bus customer service at 1-450-472-6410. Nova Bus' number for this recall is CR5877. Vehicle Identification Numbers (VINs) involved in this recall will be searchable on NHTSA.gov beginning May 30, 2026.
