Hazard (official). A seat that fails may not properly restrain an occupant during a crash, increasing risk of injury.
Action / remedy (official). Owners are advised to limit the use of the the training seat until repairs have been completed. The remedy is currently under development. Interim owner notification letters are expected to be mailed by April 24, 2026. Another notice will be sent once the remedy becomes available. Owners may contact OEV customer service at 1-866-688-5223. OEV's number for this recall is 2026-SRC-02.
