Action / remedy (official). Dealers will inspect and replace the engine as necessary, free of charge. Engines not already installed in vehicles will be inspected and if necessary, repurchased. Owner notification letters were mailed May 7, 2026. Owners may contact Chrysler customer service at 800-853-1403. Chrysler's number for this recall is 33D.
