Hazard (official). An internal short circuit in a fuel cell can cause a loss of drive power, increasing the risk of a crash or injury.
Action / remedy (official). Dealers will replace the fuel cell stack assembly, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed February 3 2026. Owners may contact Honda's customer service at 1-888-234-2138. Honda's number for this recall is CN4. Vehicle Identification Numbers (VINs) involved in this recall will be searchable on NHTSA.gov beginning December 16, 2025.
