Hazard (official). Shear plate lockbolt failure can result in separation of the elevator sub-base and truck frame, increasing the risk of injury.
Action / remedy (official). Altec will inspect the lockbolts and and replace them as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed January 23, 2026. Owners may contact Altec customer service at 1-877-462-5832. Altec's number for this recall is CSN-3266.
