Hazard (official). Unexpected activation of the emergency brakes may cause the vehicle to stop suddenly, increasing the risk of a crash.
Action / remedy (official). Altec will provide owners with instructions to inspect the brake air lines. If the lines are improperly secured, Altec will provide instructions and a kit to secure the lines. Repairs will be performed free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed October 3, 2025. Owners may contact Altec customer service at 1-877-462-5832. Altec's number for this recall is CSN-3242.
