Hazard (official). The incorrect washer can cause the bus bar connection to loosen or open, resulting in electrical arcing and increasing the risk of a fire.
Action / remedy (official). OEV will install the correctly sized washer, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed August 4, 2025. Owners may contact OEV customer service at 1-866-688-5223. OEV's number for this recall is 2025-SRC-05.
