Hazard (official). The loose bolts can cause steering system components to separate, resulting in loss of steering control and increasing the risk of a crash.
Action / remedy (official). Orange EV service will replace the upper steering shaft clamp bolts, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed August 15, 2025. Owners may contact Orange EV customer service at 1-866-688-5223.
