Hazard (official). Liquid intrusion into a battery pack can cause a loss of electrical isolation or short circuit, increasing the risk of a fire or shock hazard. In addition, the detection of a battery fault can cause a loss of drive power, increasing the risk of a crash.
Action / remedy (official). Bollinger Motors will work with Our Next Energy to inspect and repair the battery packs as necessary, free of charge. Owners can contact Bolling Motors at 586-785-7351.
