Hazard (official). An insufficient number of emergency exits can prevent or delay passengers from exiting during an emergency, increasing their risk of injury.
Action / remedy (official). Nova Bus will replace some windows with emergency exit windows, free of charge. This is a Phased campaign. Phase 1 will include 1 bus. Nova Bus will notify owners on or about 12/12/2025. Phase 2 will include 1 bus. Nova Bus will notify owners on or about 2/16/2026. Owner notification letters were mailed December 12, 2025. Owners may contact Nova Bus customer service at 866-870-2046. Nova Bus's number for this recall is CR5691.
