Hazard (official). A loss of brake function increases the risk of a crash.
Action / remedy (official). Dealers will inspect and reinforce the brake pedal arm, as necessary, free of charge. If the brake pedal assembly is not installed on a vehicle, the assembly will be repurchased. Owner notification letters were mailed January 13, 2026. Owners may contact FCA Customer Service at 1-800-853-1403. FCA's number for this recall is D5C. This recall is an expansion of previous NHTSA recall number 24E095.
