Hazard (official). Liquid intrusion into a battery pack can cause a loss of electrical isolation or short circuit, increasing the risk of a fire or shock hazard.
Action / remedy (official). Our Next Energy will work with the affected vehicle manufacturers to inspect and repair, or replace the battery packs as necessary, free of charge. Our Next Energy notified vehicle manufacturers on March 19, 2025.
