Hazard (official). A cracked subframe may damage the front axle carrier and cause a loss of vehicle handling and control, increasing the risk of a crash.
Action / remedy (official). ZF will work with dealers and distributors to inspect and if necessary, replace the bushing, subframe, and/or track control arm, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed May 7, 2025. Owners may contact ZF customer service at 1-734-416-6200.
