Hazard (official). A child seat that does not maintain proper recline position may not adequately secure a child in a crash, increasing the risk of injury. Additionally, should another passenger put their hand in the recline mechanism when it shifts out of position, their risk of injury is increased.
Action / remedy (official). Evenflo will replace the child seat, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed beginning February 18, 2026. Owners may contact Evenflo customer service at 1-800-233-5921.
