Hazard (official). A loss of power brake assist can extend the distance required to stop the vehicle. Additionally, a disabled antilock brake system and/or stability control system can result in a loss of vehicle control. Either of these scenarios can increase the risk of a crash.
Action / remedy (official). Dealers will update the ABS calibration, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed November 5, 2024. Owners may contact Ford customer service at 1-866-436-7332. Ford's number for this recall is 24S65.
