Hazard (official). Tires that are missing a DOT symbol may be used in inappropriate applications, increasing the risk of a crash.
Action / remedy (official). Michelin will replace the tires or fully reimburse customers as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed November 1, 2024. Owners may contact Michelin's customer service at 1-888-971-3801. Owners who received replacement XVS, XAS, or TRX specialty tires under Recall 22T023 may need to have their tires replaced again.
