Hazard (official). The inability to determine the production date of a tire can result in prolonged usage of a tire that should be replaced, or unknowingly using a tire that has been recalled. Either of these situations can increase the risk of a crash.
Action / remedy (official). Dealers will replace the tires, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed September 26, 2024. Owners may contact Goodyear customer service at 1-800-592-3267.
