Hazard (official). Brake pedal detachment can cause a loss of brake function and increase the risk of a crash.
Action / remedy (official). Dealers will inspect and repair, the brake booster connection, as necessary, free of charge. Brake boosters that have not been installed on a vehicle will be repurchased. Owner notification letters were mailed March 18, 2025. Owners may contact FCA customer service at 1-800-853-1403. FCA's number for this recall is E1B.
