The material of the black padding in the product has an excessive concentration of polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs), notably benzo[a]pyrene, benzo[e]pyrene, benzo[a]anthracene, benzo[b]fluoranthene, benzo[j]fluoranthene, benzo[k]fluoranthene and dibenzo[a,h]anthracene (measured values: 49.5 mg/kg, 76.6 mg/kg, 143 mg/kg, 204 mg/kg, 30.2 mg/kg, 9.1 mg/kg, 7.3 mg/kg and 2.9 mg/kg by weight, respectively). These PAHs may cause cancer and are also mutagenic and toxic for reproduction. The product does not comply with the REACH Regulation.
